The Seaman Vikings will head out on the road to  face off against  the Shawnee Mission East Lancers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Shawnee Mission East took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Seaman, who comes in off a win.
 While Vikings fans will have to keep waiting for their  squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's  season opener. They enjoyed a cozy  35-18 victory over Piper on Friday.
  Kaden Mckinney went supernova for Seaman, rushing for 91 yards and two touchdowns.  Kaden Whitehurst got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
 Seaman's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Whitehurst and  Kevin Moe.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Seaman was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 204  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Piper only rushed for 56.
 Meanwhile, Shawnee Mission East was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They took  a  12-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lawrence Free State.
