Bryson Elia continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 159 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 103 yards and a touchdown. Elia was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards. Another player making a difference was Adam Slone, who gained 104 total yards and a touchdown.
Tug Valley's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. The heavy lifting was done by Ashton Davis and Buddy Marcum who racked up six sacks between them.
Meanwhile, Tucker County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Midland Trail 46-6 at home. The result was nothing new for Tucker County, who have now won eight contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Tucker County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Rosenau led the charge by throwing for 283 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. Maddox Anderson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
