After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aquin Catholic, the Dakota Indians were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They took down Milledgeville 54-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dakota also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Madison Binder was a one-man wrecking crew for Dakota as she dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Hailey Kerchner was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Dakota's victory bumped their record up to 12-18. As for Milledgeville, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.
Dakota will be playing in front of their home fans against Durand at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Durand is coming into the game with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning Dakota will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Milledgeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
