The biggest upset of the week belonged to New York Military Academy, who took down 84th ranked Harvey, 26-6. Jabari Wells ran for 121 yards in the win.
Austin Pagano and Mac Garnett provided fans with a highlight when they connected against the Cavaliers. The connection was good for 65 yards, the longest such play in Hudson Valley this season.
The Knights' dynamic duo of Pagano and Janos Edmundson proved tough for Harvey to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pagano threw for 90 yards and one touchdown and Edmundson had 65 yards receiving. Parker Howard helped New York Military Academy's passing attack out by catching three balls for 25 yards.
Isaiah Grooms was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 178 yards as Forman topped Chris Kelly's team. David Randazzo also contributed to the rushing game with 38 yards on the ground.
Les Mcmillen's team's Pagano and Wells have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pagano has thrown for 218 yards this season, while Wells has six catches for 73 yards. Grooms from the Lions leads the league in rushing with 1021 yards.
A big matchup in Hudson Valley this week will be when the Knights take on Forman. At the moment, New York Military Academy is in third, while Zack Zampaglione's team is in second.
There should be lots of points scored when the Knights and the Lions face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, New York Military Academy comes in having scored 104 this season, while Forman has scored 115. The Knights scored 26 points last week as they beat the Cavaliers.
Horace Mann extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Dalton, 22-21. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Lions.
