Christiansburg's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Pulaski County Cougars 69-47. That 22 point margin sets a new team best for the Blue Demons this season.

Christiansburg's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 5-16. As for Pulaski County, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Christiansburg will venture away from home to take on Staunton River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pulaski County, they will welcome Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Salem knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Pulaski County likes a good challenge.
