Pemberton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawrence Cardinals. One positive for the Hornets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Pemberton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lawrence, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Pemberton will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Holy Cross at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lawrence, they will head out to take on Allentown at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
