Treasure Coast has won nine straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Vero Beach has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Treasure Coast Titans will welcome the Vero Beach Indians at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Treasure Coast 4, Vero Beach 0.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Treasure Coast fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Centennial on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Hunter Wilson was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Treasure Coast saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Romero, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Thomas Johnson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Vero Beach put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Seminole Ridge a 3-0 shutout. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Ashton Wetmiller made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wetmiller was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Cody Morgan looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
Back at the plate, Jace Romans was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Vero Beach hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in three consecutive games.
Vero Beach's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Treasure Coast, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Treasure Coast has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Vero Beach struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
