Ryan Perzanowski was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Perzanowski was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Noah Hoffer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.
