Saint Andrew is on a 13-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while King's Academy is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Saint Andrew's Scots will welcome the King's Academy Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Saint Andrew's knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully King's Academy likes a good challenge.
Saint Andrew's saw some tournament action last Friday. They walked away with a 76-67 victory over Coral Springs.

Saint Andrew's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Montes, who went 11 of 17 on his way to 24 points and five steals. Montes' afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lukas Buinevicius, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds.
Saint Andrew's smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when King's Academy duked it out withBoca Raton on Monday. King's Academy came out on top against Boca Raton by a score of 50-42. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Bobcats are ranked 482nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
King's Academy's win came from a few key players Saint Andrew's will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Isaiah McCoy, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards. McCoy is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Javian Jones was another key player, putting up 15 points and eight rebounds.
Saint Andrew's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for King's Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Saint Andrew's has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like King's Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Saint Andrew's came out on top in a nail-biter against King's Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, sneaking past 57-54. Does Saint Andrew's have another victory up their sleeve, or will King's Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
