The Ranchview Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Decatur, falling 58-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ranchview has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Ranchview still got an impressive performance from Christina Mokom, who scored four points along with seven rebounds. Mokom also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
Decatur got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bralyn Peck out in front who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Peck's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was London Gilbreath, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Ranchview has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Decatur, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Ranchview will take on Pinkston at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinkston has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 11.
