Chaminade strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Duchesne Pioneers. The six-run effort marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Owen Plocher looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Anthony Wohlstadter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Miller, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Chaminade kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Chaminade's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Duchesne, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Chaminade will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pioneers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
