The Hubbard Greyhounds lost against the King Jaguars back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hubbard ended up on the wrong side of a tough 62-39 walloping at the hands of King.
King found their leader in underclassman Demarco King, who scored 22 points. The contest was King's third in a row with at least ten points. Jaden Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Hubbard bumped their record down to 3-4 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for King, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Hubbard will be playing in front of their home fans against Solorio at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for King, they will head out on the road to face off against Dunbar at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dunbar is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
