There's no place like home for the Shorecrest Scots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 70-48 margin over Edmonds-Woodway. That's another feather in the cap for Shorecrest, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Edmonds-Woodway's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dj Karl, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Karl hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Grant Williams was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Shorecrest has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. As for Edmonds-Woodway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
Shorecrest won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on February 2nd. Arlington has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 852 points over their last 12 games. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they will head out on the road to challenge the Stormrays at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
