To make any top recruiting list, high school football players need all the measurables: Speed, size and production.
Good bloodlines are a huge bonus.
Many of the following 28 prep players either have dads or uncles who made significant impacts in the NFL, including Hall of Famers like Peyton Manning, Deion Sanders and Marvin Harrison.

AJ Barber, Greenwich (Conn.)Father: Tiki Barber, a three-time Pro Bowl running back rushed for 10,449 career NFL yards and 55 touchdowns.
Son: In two seasons, the explosive 5-foot-10, 175-pound senior receiver had 73 catches for 1,191 yards and 25 touchdowns. He's committed to Princeton.
Jordan Bly, Myers Park (Charlotte, N.C.)Father: Dre' Bly played 11 seasons for six NFL teams, earning two Pro Bowl invitations and winning a Super Bowl for the Rams in 2000.
Son: The 5-10, 180-pound receiver had 39 catches for 501 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior in 2019. He's got 11 college offers, but committed to Old Dominion in August.
Brandon Buckner, Chandler (Ariz.)Father: Brentson Buckner had 425 career tackles and 31 sacks in 10 NFL seasons.
Son: Oregon-bound defensive end (6-1, 234) leads nation's No. 5 team into the Arizona Open Division title game on Saturday. He has 131 career tackles and 31.5 sacks.
Eliot Donald, Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, Pa.)Uncle: Aaron Donald is widely regarded as the most dominant defensive player currently in the NFL for the Rams.
Nephew: The nation's No. 10 senior defensive tackle recruit has 16 college offers after recording 15.5 sacks combined as a sophomore and junior. He's committed to Pittsburgh.
Cristian Driver, Liberty Christian (Argyle, Texas)Father: Donald Driver spent all 14 seasons with the Packers, earning four Pro Bowl invitations while hauling in 743 career passes for 10,137 yards and 61 touchdowns.
Son: With 40 offers, the 6-1, 180-pound safety is one of the top junior recruits in Texas.
Oronde Gadsden II, American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.)Father: Oronde Gadsden played five seasons as a wide receiver for the Dolphins (1998-2003).
Son: The 6-4, 190-pound senior receiver committed to Syracuse on Sept. 14. He has 18 other college offers.
Antonio Gates Jr., Fordson (Dearborn, Mich.)Father: Antonio Gates is the NFL career tight end leader in touchdown receptions (116) to go along with 955 catches overall for 11,841 yards.
Son: The 6-3, 185-pound junior is one of the top wide receivers coming out of Michigan. He had 32 catches for 600 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore.
Marvin Harrison Jr., St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia)Father: Marvin Harrison is a 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Super Bowl champion with 1,102 career receptions (fifth all-time in NFL history), 14,580 yards (ninth) and 128 touchdowns (fifth).
Son: The 6-3, 190-pound Ohio State commit had 47 catches for 1,033 yards and 15 TDs as a junior. He's ranked the 15th best senior receiver in the country, according to 247Sports composite.
Sam Huard, Kennedy Catholic (Burien, Wash.)Father: Damon Huard, a 12-year NFL quarterback veteran won two Super Bowl rings.
Son: The 6-2, 190-pound senior is the No. 1 pro-style quarterback in his class and committed to the University of Washington. He's thrown for 11,741 career prep yards and 132 touchdowns.
Jake Johnson, Oconee County (Watkinsville, Ga.)Father: Brad Johnson played quarterback 15 seasons, won two Super Bowls and threw for 29,054 career yards and 166 touchdowns.
Son: The 6-5, 210-pounder is the nation's top-ranked junior tight end who had 60 catches for 845 yards and 14 touchdowns as a sophomore. Alabama, LSU and Clemson are on his short list of college choices.
Marvin Jones Jr., American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.)Father: Marvin Jones was a 1993 first-round pick by the Jets who piled up 1,021 career NFL tackles and nine sacks in 10 seasons.
Son: The 6-4, 225-pound junior defensive end is the No. 70 recruit in the country overall. Started prep career as a wide receiver. Has 23 college offers.
Earl Little Jr., American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.)Father: Earl Little had 291 tackles and 18 interceptions as a defensive back from 1998 to 2005 with the Saints, Browns and Packers.
Son: The 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback is ranked the No. 98 junior recruit overall in the country. He has 29 college offers, including from Alabama, Florida, LSU and Miami.
Arch Manning, Newman (New Orleans)Uncles: Peyton and Eli Manning combined to throw for 128,963 yards and 905 touchdowns and win four Super Bowls in two iconic careers.
Nephew: The 2019 MaxPreps Freshman of the Year has thrown for more than 4,000 yards and accounted for 65 touchdowns to date. He's the No. 1 quarterback recruit from the Class of 2023 and has Newman one win away from the state Division III championship game.
RJ Maryland, Southlake Carroll (Southlake, Texas)Father: Russell Maryland, a three-time Super Bowl champion played defensive tackle 10 seasons for the Cowboys, Raiders and Packers.
Son: The 6-4, 210-pound junior is one of the top tight ends in Texas for one of the nation's premier programs.
Dasan and Daeh McCullough, Blue Valley North (Overland Park, Kan.)Father: Deland McCullough, the Chiefs running back coach, played the same position for the Bengals and Eagles in the late 1990s.
Sons: Dasan (6-5, 220), the top junior recruit in Kansas, plays strong safety and receiver and has already committed to Ohio State. Daeh (6-1, 175) is the nation's No. 3 rated cornerback and has 16 college offers. The eldest McCullough, Deland, is currently a defensive back at Miami (Ohio).
Dyson McCutcheon, Bishop Amat (La Puente, Calif.)Father: Daylon McCutcheon played his entire seven-year career with the Browns, piling up 463 tackles, seven sacks and 12 interceptions as a cornerback. Daylon's dad Lawrence played 10 seasons for four teams in the NFL and rushed for 6,578 career yards and 26 touchdowns.
Son: The 5-10, 165-pound senior cornerback has 22 college offers but committed to Washington in June.
Charlie Mirer, Cathedral Catholic (San Diego)Father: Rick Mirer was the second pick of the 1993 NFL draft. He played quarterback 11 seasons for seven teams and threw for 11,969 career yards and 50 touchdowns.
Son: The 6-6, 225-pound junior quarterback has an offer from Michigan. He's also an excellent baseball player.
Nolan Rucci, Warwick (Lititz, Pa.)Father: Todd Rucci played guard eight seasons for the Patriots, starting 75 of 85 games.
Son: The 6-8, 295-pound senior is the nation's No. 15 recruit overall. The offensive tackle will join his tight end brother Hayden Rucci at Wisconsin.
Shedeur Sanders, Trinity Christian (Cedar Hill, Texas)Father: Deion Sanders, Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback, only athlete to ever play in Super Bowl and World Series.
Son: Four-year starting quarterback, three-time state (TAPPS) champion and Jackson State commit. More than 9,000 total yards and 145 touchdowns in first three seasons.
Syre Stewart, North Atlanta (Atlanta)Father: Kordell Stewart is considered one of the top all-around talents of his era, passing for 14,746 career yards and rushing for 2,874 yards while accounting for 122 touchdowns for the Steelers, Bears and Ravens.
Son: The speedy 5-10, 175-pound cornerback is the leader of North Atlanta's secondary. He had 30 tackles, a sack and fumble recovery as a junior.
Father: Lorenzo Styles was a star linebacker at Ohio State, selected in the third round of the 1995 draft by the Falcons and won a Super Bowl with the Rams in 2000.
Sons: Lorenzo Jr. (6-1, 185) is one of the nation's top senior receivers who earned 18 college scholarships but committed to Notre Dame on Oct. 13. Sonny (6-4, 205) is a sophomore safety who already has offers to Notre Dame, Ohio State and Indiana.
Bobby Taylor Jr., Katy (Texas)Father: Bobby Taylor played 10 seasons as a cornerback for the Eagles and Seahawks, registering 378 career tackles and 19 interceptions.
Son: A 6-1, 180-pound cornerback for one of the nation's premier programs already has 30 college offers including his dad's alma mater, Notre Dame.
Isaiah and Mason Taylor, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)Father: Jason Taylor, a 15-year defensive end was a two-time AFC Defensive Player of the Year and Pro Football Hall of Famer. His 139.5 sacks ranks seventh in NFL history.
Son: Isaiah is a 5-11, 195-pound senior safety for one of the nation's top programs who has college offers from Kansas, Missouri, Coastal Carolina, Syracuse and Maryland. Mason (6-3, 205) is a versatile junior who can play tight end, wide receiver and defensive end.
Josiah and Jeremiah Trotter Jr., St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia)Father: Jeremiah Trotter, a 12-year NFL veteran had 908 career tackles, 12 sacks and is one of four Eagles' linebackers to receive four or more Pro Bowl Invitations.
Sons: Jeremiah is the nation's No. 1 senior linebacker recruit according to 247Sports and committed to Clemson. He's considered undersized (6-0, 210) but instinctive, fast and tackling machine. Sophomore brother Josiah (6-2, 220) is also a linebacker with offers from Penn State and Temple.
