The Mountain View Mountain Lions won the last time they faced the Cholla Chargers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Mountain View was the clear victor by a 55-31 margin over the Chargers.
Mountain View got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayla Carter out in front who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Holly McLemore, who scored 13 points.
Mountain View's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-12. As for Cholla, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Mountain View will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cholla, they and the Falcons will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Catalina Foothills is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.
