Hardaway has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Shaw Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Hardaway focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 70-39, which was the final score in Hardaway's tilt against the Patriots. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hardaway has scored all season.
Daniel Parhams put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerry Fudge, who scored three points along with seven rebounds.
Even though Shaw has not done well against the Bearcats recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Shaw had just enough and edged the Bearcats out 65-63. 65 seems to be a good number for Shaw as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Hardaway's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10. As for Shaw, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.
Hardaway and the Raiders were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January, but the Hawks came up empty-handed after a 58-57 defeat.
