Savannah Arts Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Jenkins Warriors by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Savannah Arts Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11.

Coincidentally, Savannah Arts Academy and Jenkins will both be playing Savannah Country Day the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
