Volleyball Recap: Sheboygan Falls Falls Despite Big Games from Calla Gromowski and Abigail Beaumont

It was a good run, but Sheboygan Falls unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Plymouth Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in September.

Despite the loss, Sheboygan Falls had strong showings from Abigail Beaumont, who had ten assists and nine digs, and Calla Gromowski, who had two aces and two assists.

Plymouth found their leader in sophomore Karli Klapperich, who had 15 assists. Klapperich is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

Sheboygan Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 19-18. As for Plymouth, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-16 record this season.

Sheboygan Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Oostburg on the 4th. As for Plymouth, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Living Word Lutheran on the 4th.
