Perhaps the best among those players was Zack Patterson, who rushed for 18 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Patterson was even better on defense, picking up two sacks and making ten total tackles.
Orcutt Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.8 points per game. As for Lone Pine, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
