Things haven't been easy for Christ the King, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-63 to Providence Day. Christ the King were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Cannon ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Friday. They had just enough and edged out High Point Christian Academy 23-20. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Cannon as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
