Taylor Walsh put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Monday. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off six hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Walsh and Chartiers Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against South Fayette at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
