Fond du Lac had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Appleton West Terrors 8-1. Considering the Cardinals have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Logan Hahn looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Brenner, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Greyson Wenger also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Fond du Lac's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Appleton West, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Fond du Lac will challenge Neenah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Appleton West, they will head out on the road to face off against Oshkosh West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
