Triangle Math & Science can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past Woods Charter 67-27 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-12.
Triangle Math & Science had a senior duo take command as Leanna Nohs scored 23 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds and Samrita Sriram scored 22 points along with five steals. Nohs hasn't dropped below two steals for 14 straight games. Yashitha Vanamala was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 70-2, which was the final score in Ascend Leadership's tilt against Riverside Christian Academy on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ascend Leadership has scored all season.
Triangle Math & Science is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Ascend Leadership, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
