New London were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They steamrollered Lone Tree 53-6. Followers of New London probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The victory bumped New London's record up to 4-0. The defeat dropped Lone Tree's record to 1-4.
Next week New London take on Tri-County at 7:00 PM. New London have bulldozed their previous four opponents, so Tri-County might have their hands full. As for Lone Tree, they will face off against WACO. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
