Meanwhile, Safford scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Catalina 72-17 on the road. That 55 points margin sets a new team best for Safford this season.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Safford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy took their win against Safford in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 59-39. With Pusch Ridge Christian Academy ahead 35-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
