Winnebago Lutheran Academy won the last time they faced Omro and things went their way on Monday too. The Vikings' pitchers stepped up to hand the Foxes a 10-0 shutout. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by seven runs or more this season.

Kynzie Rank was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Naomia Wild, who earned two RBI and two runs.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive contests.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for Omro, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

The timing isn't great for the Vikings: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while the Lions have snatched up five consecutive wins on the road. Meanwhile, Omro is set to take on their familiar foe North Fond du Lac at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
