The Klein Forest Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Klein Cain Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Tomball Memorial scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Klein Forest still came out on top. Klein Forest took down Tomball Memorial 75-58. The win made it back-to-back wins for Klein Forest.
Even though Klein Cain has not done well against Klein recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Klein Cain walked away with a 54-41 win over Klein. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Klein Cain has scored all year.
John Clark was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Delgado, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Klein Forest pushed their record up to 15-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Klein Cain, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Klein Forest came up short against Klein Cain when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 67-57. Can Klein Forest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
