The Marina Vikings will face off against the Westlake Warriors at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Marina will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Marina is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Yorba Linda get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory.

The team relied heavily on Halle Piramo, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Kim, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.
Marina hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 12 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Westlake ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over Kennedy. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on four straight.
Presley Watters spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits.
At the plate, Kira Palmer was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Penelope Yeomans, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Marina pushed their record up to 18-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Westlake, their record is now 19-13.
Westlake's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Marina has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.4 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Westlake, though, as they've been averaging only 2.8 strikeouts. Will Marina keep running through batters, or will the Warriors buck the trend?
Everything went Marina's way against Westlake when the teams last played back in March, as Marina made off with a 12-2 win. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
