Meanwhile, Inland Lakes suffered a rough 62-42 loss at the hands of Onaway on Friday. Inland Lakes has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Sam Schoonmaker, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Connor Wallace was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.
Alpena has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Inland Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
