Big Game from Spencer As Pinecrest Won 42-13
Starting off the list is Pinecrest's Zymire Spencer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Spencer rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Spencer might just drop another big game when he faces off against Scotland on Friday. Spencer rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Fighting Scots duked it out back in October of 2023.

Richmond Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Terande Spencer
Terande Spencer was instrumental in extending Richmond's winning streak to four on Friday. Spencer did his part (and then some), picking up two sacks, making eight total tackles (4.0 for loss), and defending a pass for the 'W'. He has been hot recently, having posted six or more total tackles the last three times he's played.
Richmond's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. They and Union Pines are set to duel on Friday.

Hayne Tobias Turns in Season-Best Performance
Hayne Tobias produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Union Pines to the win on Friday. Tobias picked up 79 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (eight) he has had since back in October of 2023.
Union Pines' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. They and Richmond are set to duel on Friday.

Keyshaun Mcqueen Turns in Another Game with at Least Seven Total Tackles
Sadly, Keyshaun Mcqueen posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Scotland over Union Pines on Friday. Mcqueen wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks and making nine total tackles. The contest was his seventh straight with seven or more total tackles dating back to last season.
Scotland's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4. Mcqueen and Scotland will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pinecrest at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.

Chris Najm's Big Game Leads Pinecrest over Southern Lee
The second Pinecrest player making an appearance here is Chris Najm, and for good reason. He rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
Southern Lee had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Najm it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Najm saw the Cavaliers), he rushed for 270 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry.
