Poteet entered their tilt with West Mesquite on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Wranglers 13-7. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Wranglers on March 3rd, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.
Faith Castellanos made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits.
