Basketball Recap: Windham RVT Piles Up the Points Against Prince RVT

Windham RVT hadn't done well against Prince RVT recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Windham RVT Mighty Tigers really took it to the Prince RVT Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-43 win. The Mighty Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Brady Marsh was his usual excellent self, putting up 31 points. His evening made it 19 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Dunnack, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Windham RVT was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now posted at least 20 assists in four consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Prince RVT still got an impressive performance from Jordan Iverson, who went 8 for 16 on his way to 21 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That was a full 48.8% of Prince RVT's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Emmanuel Ikeh was another key player, posting seven points and three blocks.

Windham RVT pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24 points. As for Prince RVT, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windham RVT will square off against Norwich RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prince RVT, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Prince RVT Falcons take on the Vinal RVT Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Vinal RVT's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
