Football Recap: Park Vista Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Park Vista never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the West Boca Raton Bulls as they made off with a 24-0 win. Considering the Cobras have won six contests by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jordana Weil was her usual excellent self, throwing for 197 yards and four TDs. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played. Park Vista's leading receiver Zahra Fazal was Weil's top target yet again, picking up 67 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Park Vista is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.4 points on average over those games. As for West Boca Raton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, Park Vista will venture away from home to square off against Wellington at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cobras 8.5, the Wolverines 1.1) so any points scored will be well earned. As for West Boca Raton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 32-0 defeat against Stoneman Douglas on the 2nd.
