Broderick Vehrs Delivers Electric Effort Vs Hamilton
Starting off the list is Basha's Broderick Vehrs, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vehrs threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Basha pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Vehrs and Basha will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

A Season-Best Performance from Gio Richardson Leads Basha over Hamilton
Gio Richardson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Basha to the win on Friday. Richardson picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (11) he has had since back in October of 2023. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 89 yards.
Hamilton had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Richardson it was a similar story. When Richardson last faced the Huskies back in October of 2023, he picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Big Game from Palmer As Casteel Won 40-37
Paul Palmer was instrumental in extending Casteel's winning streak to three on Friday. Palmer was dynamite, throwing for 211 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 31 yards.
If the past is any indication, Palmer could be in store for another big game when he takes on Chandler on Friday. Palmer rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 199 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Wolves duked it out back in September of 2023.

Hamilton Gets a Boost from Lucero Jr. in 35-20 Loss
Rich Lucero Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.
With the loss, Hamilton broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1. Lucero Jr. and Hamilton will square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Porter Delnoce Makes It Two for Casteel
Another Casteel player making an appearance on this list is Porter Delnoce. He made 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Perry, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Delnoce. When Delnoce last faced the Pumas back in October of 2023, he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
