Madison Prep Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against GEO Next Generation on Wednesday. Madison Prep Academy really took it to the GEO Next Generation Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-45 win. Madison Prep Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dwight Pinkney, who went 5 for 11 to rack up 12 points and three steals. Pinkney has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Anderson Smith, who posted eight points.

Madison Prep Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. As for GEO Next Generation, their loss dropped their record down to 19-9.

Madison Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 63-57 victory against Southern Lab on the 6th. As for GEO Next Generation, they have also already played their next game, a 69-45 win against Glen Oaks on the 7th.
