Bloomington Central Catholic won the last time they faced Maroa-Forsyth and Emme Hurie did her part to make sure it happened again. The Saints were the clear victors by a 65-45 margin over the Trojans on Monday for which the team can thank Hurie, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Bloomington Central Catholic is 2-1 when Hurie posts 15 or more points, but 2-4 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Cook, who posted five points in addition to five assists and five boards. She also posted two blocks, marking her first of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Bloomington Central Catholic and bumps their season record up to 4-5. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bloomington Central Catholic will head out to take on Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Edinburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
