The IDEA Riverview Rockets won against the Harmony School of Innovation Wildcats last Tuesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. IDEA Riverview never let Harmony School of Innovation onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's two games straight that IDEA Riverview has won by exactly two goals.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Juan Pablo Gutierrez and
Jose Ibarra, who scored both of IDEA Riverview's goals. The pair have combined for a total of three so far this season.
IDEA Riverview now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. IDEA Riverview will challenge IDEA Sports Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. IDEA Sports Park's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jubilee Brownsville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
