Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Central

Central waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Trinity Christian. For Central, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory Trinity Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (63-59) Central actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 17-25, 17-15.

Central found their leader in sophomore Julianna Johnston, who had nine digs and one assist.

Central's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Trinity Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Central and Trinity Christian will both be playing McEachern the next time they take the court. Trinity Christian will head out to face McEachern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Central will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
