The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
When it comes to explaining why Kansas School for the Deaf lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyler McCallum. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McCallum has scored all season.
RyJan Reininger was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds for Oklahoma School for the Deaf. Reininger has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Bodee Flanary was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Kansas School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.
