Bristow and Berryhill are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Bristow Pirates will be playing at home against the Berryhill Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bristow focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
Last Friday, Bristow humbled Cushing with a 66-26 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bristow.
Bristow had a senior duo take command as Addi Alexander scored 24 points along with 3 steals and Shalyn Edmondson scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Edmondson has scored at least 25% of Bristow's points. Ava Yocham was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Berryhill came up short against Sperry on Friday and fell 51-39. Berryhill has struggled against Sperry recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Bristow's victory pushed their record up to 2-0, while Cushing's defeat dropped theirs down to 0-2.
Bristow strolled past Berryhill in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 60-43. Does Bristow have another victory up their sleeve, or will Berryhill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
