In other batting news, Parker Scheulen made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Larry Morris was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
As for Chouteau-Mazie, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 12.0 runs this season.
On Chouteau-Mazie's side, Taylor Applegate was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI.
