Meanwhile, Tri-State Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 67-43 loss at the hands of Quad Cities Christian. Tri-State Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-20.
Cunningham put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Nick Vannorsdel was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Galesburg Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Tri-State Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
