The Bloomfield Wildcats can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They really took it to Westwood Baptist Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-26 win at home. The victory was familiar territory for Bloomfield who now have four in a row.
Despite the loss, Westwood Baptist Academy still got an impressive performance from Katie Gross, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 65.4% of Westwood Baptist Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Maliyah Bardo-Pinter, who scored two points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Bloomfield pushed their record up to 6-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-1.
Bloomfield will head out on the road to challenge Sikeston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Liberty Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m.
