There's no place like home for Carter, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let the Cumberland County Jets get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Saturday. The Green Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by seven runs or more this season.

Cooper Cardwell was a standout: he scored three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Luke Burnette was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.

Carter pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cumberland County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Carter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 victory against Wartburg Central on the 12th. As for Cumberland County, they will venture away from home to take on Upperman at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
