Windsor gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Analy Tigers 48-13. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Carter Vose lll had an outrageously good game as he threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Fernando Lopez was Vose lll's top target, picking up 24 receiving yards.
Windsor didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Analy to a completion percentage of just 48.3%. The Jaguars weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 57.1%.
Windsor's defense didn't let Matthew Medina., get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Gabriel Suarez refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.
When it comes to explaining why Analy lost, don't look at Medina. Despite the final result, he rushed for 109 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries, and also threw for 173 yards on 14 of 29 attempts. Medina has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
Looking ahead, Windsor will head out to square off against Hayward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Analy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Napa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
