American had a rough outing against North Miami two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. American took their matchup against Hialeah-Miami Lakes last Thursday 28-14. The win was a breath of fresh air for American as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Hialeah Gardens, and their contest two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to three. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-48 to Hialeah.
American's victory lifted them to 2-4 while Hialeah Gardens's defeat dropped them down to 3-3. We'll find out if American can add another positive mark to their record or if Hialeah Gardens can shake off the loss and take the spring out of American's step.
