They took their matchup at home on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 83-4 win over Wolfson. Bishop Kenny's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Bishop Kenny had a senior duo take command as Riley Talbert scored 15 points along with five steals and Clare Coyle scored 19 points along with eight rebounds. Coyle hasn't dropped below 19 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Lena Granuzzo, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Bolles waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They really took it to Paxon School For Advanced Studies for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-33 victory on the road. Bolles pushed the score to 51-21 by the end of the third, a deficit Paxon School For Advanced Studies had little chance of recovering from.
Bishop Kenny's victory was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Bolles, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
Bishop Kenny didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Bolles in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory. Will Bishop Kenny repeat their success, or does Bolles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
