The Rancocas Valley Red Devils will face off against the Delran Bears at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Rancocas Valley is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Rancocas Valley and Moorestown had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Quakers on Thursday. Considering the Red Devils have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Gianna Simone made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Ava Sweet was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Allie Uhlig, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Rancocas Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .594. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .343 or higher in three consecutive games.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Delran and Burlington Township, and Burlington Township kept the tradition alive. The Bears fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 9-8 on Wednesday.
Danielle Gorman and Olivia Stroemel stepped up to the plate in a big way. Gorman went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI, while Stroemel went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Elaina Faux, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI.
Rancocas Valley pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Delran, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rancocas Valley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .372. However, it's not like Delran struggles in that department as they've averaged .380. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Rancocas Valley skirted past Delran 4-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
