Grissom never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the Randolph School Raiders as the Grissom Tigers made off with a 6-0 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Braydon Weaver, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Randolph School off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Josh Burrell, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last 12 games. Another player making a difference was Dalton Dardin, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

The victory snapped Grissom's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-5 record. As for Randolph School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Grissom didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Fairhope on the 10th. As for Randolph School, they will venture away from home to take on Orange Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
