The Westlake Demons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell to North Olmsted 62-58. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (56), Westlake still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Westlake still got an impressive performance from Anthony Fernandez, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Reitenbach, who scored ten points.
Westlake struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for North Olmsted, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Fairview the next time they take the court. Westlake will head out to face Fairview at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while North Olmsted will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
